The Woodland West Show Dog Facility is located next to our residence in Tulsa, Oklahoma which sets on 80 acres. The entire 2176 square foot building and apartment is made of steel and other fireproof and canine safe materials. Skylights are located throughout the building for natural light. Three separate units provide heat and air throughout the building. One unit is for the apartment, one for the kennel area and one for the grooming area. In addition, ceiling fans are provided for good air circulation. Fire and smoke alarms as well as visible fire extinguishers are also located throughout the building. Dog leash hangers are located at all entrance and exit doors. A medical kit is located in the kennel kitchen, along with a complete list of emergency and contact numbers. On the inside the runs are divided by a solid plastic laminate material with aluminum grates and gates that are made by Snyder Runs. A resting bench is also provided in the construction. In addition, located inside are fully enclosed T-kennel runs. These runs are constructed of heavy steel and Formica and include sloped flooring with drains for easy cleaning. These kennels have steel dividers to make runs larger if needed. We also supply pet cots for our show dogs to sleep on. The kennel building has epoxy coated floors and the apartment has laminated wood grain floors. A power washer is used for cleaning all the runs along with a built in drain flushing system. The outdoor runs are covered, have sloped epoxy floors with Mason divider walls, drains and resting benches. The dog doors are Pic Wick with guillotine doors to close down for the night. The covered outdoor exercise areas are used for let out while cleaning the indoor/outdoor runs. The runs have a two foot gravel base toped with pea gravel and include brick borders. Sun shades are provided to protect against the summer sun. There are three large grass play yards with six foot chain link fence so our show dogs can run and get plenty of exercise. One yard is 15,000 square feet , the other tow are around 5,00 square feet each. We also have a treadmill to facilitate good conditioning. Our stainless steel bathing center has a walk up ramp for entrance and exits. Located in the grooming section are a hydraulic grooming table and a Snyder dryer along with other forced air dryers. The kennel kitchen area has a dishwasher, refrigerator, double sink with disposal and a full size washer and dryer. There is a half bath located off the kitchen by the back door for guest and staff not living in the apartment. A storage room is provided for extra equipment and dog food. The storage area can be accessed from the show dog truck parking area via a garage door for easy loading and unloading. There is also internal access from the kennel kitchen area. There is a dawn to dusk security outside lighting system surrounding the entire kennel. A twenty by fifty concrete and gravel pad is located next to the kennel for our 50 ft show dog truck. A fifty amp electric plug is located at the southwest end.
